Catey Genc

Catey Genc first got involved in aviation when she married a pilot in 2004. An experienced customer service representative with 15 years in hospital telecommunications, Catey graduated Summa Cum Laude from Aurora University with BS in Psychology. After taking some time off to raise her children, Catey returned to the workforce to manage a convenient care facility before getting involved in community school programs and leadership. After sitting as the President over multiple PTAs, local and state school organizations, she was elected to serve her local community on the school board.

Whether via email, phone, or in person at monthly pilot career events, Catey is excited to be working with FAPA, representing the first point of contact for members and event attendees. Though not a pilot, her passion for aviation as well as meeting and speaking with others makes her an invaluable part of the FAPA Crew. Her positive energy is contagious to all around her.
